We run watersports adventures on the Lovely Tranquille Exeter canal and waterway offering equipment rental, lessons and the daily pub paddle where groups get to choose what they would like to paddle, to paddle down to a pub for lunch and drinks and back again.
We can meet you at the waters edge or pick you up with the 17-seat minibus and adventure trailer with our fleet of watersports adventure kit.

RLSS Lifeguard and Rescue Courses
We train and assess all RLSS courses but specifically:
We train Pool Lifeguard courses every half term in Dawlish Warren to be able to provide staff locally or further afield, we also train and assess pool, beach and open water lifeguard courses and assessments locally or afar for other companies, councils and clubs. Through out the year.

First Aid Courses
We train and assess All First aid courses, these courses are: Ofqual / Ofsted certificated Level 3 first aid courses. Whether you want them for your group at your venue, or we can hire a venue for you. The courses we cover include:

- 1 day Emergency First aid at Work
- 3-day first aid at work
- 2 day first aid at work refresher
- 2 day paediatric courses
- 2 hour baby first aid
- Schools First Aid
- Outdoor Adventure First Aid
- Mental Health First Aid
Minibus Hire
Our new luxurious 17 seat 2017 Ford Transit Minibus Trend we replaced at the end of 2023 this has a tachograph and Operators Licence.
Through out the year we like to do little and large trips, whether you need a lift for a school trip, club game, local night out or an airport transfer we are flexible to work around you.
About Sam
I started Exe Adventures in 2013 to offer fun, safe and adventurous activities for local people and the many happy holiday makers that visit our lovely area of south Devon. To make their holiday that much more of a fantastic experience. Making memories and friends.
I love what I do, socialising with people whilst taking part in adventurous activities! From training Outdoor Adventure at both College and university I spent many seasons working locally and globally as an adventure instructor, Pool and Beach Lifeguard and driver of cars, trucks, minibuses and lorries including Australia, Camp America in Iowa and Switzerland.
These qualifications and jobs I have obtained and experienced gave me my confidence I have today and running these courses and activities gives me passion to see others gain confidence and competence.

Our Adventure team
Our friendly and qualified Instructors will teach you all you need to know for your adventure on the water. We make sure the team are qualified by doing the essential courses and more.
Eager people friendly instructors are hired and before each summer season the team become RLSS Lifeguards and get trained in the British Canoeing PSRT Rescue course, ( Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Training course) alongside a number of paddling sessions gaining the skills and experience in teaching on the water.
